Detailed selection brief

Child Safety Net — requirement profile

Netskart categorizes child and pet safety nets as custom-size, UV-stabilized netting for balconies, windows, staircases and open areas. Its current detailed safety SKUs are Garware/GarSafe, so exact ProNet construction must be confirmed in the quotation.

Selection guidance checked against the current Netskart Child & Pet Safety category. No Garware specification has been relabelled as ProNet here.

Mesh selection

Choose the opening size carefully

The mesh decision should reflect the protected opening and the need for closer coverage.

More open mesh

50 MM Mesh

A more open mesh that may preserve a lighter visual appearance, subject to product suitability for the specific site.

  • Larger mesh openings
  • Maintains airflow and visibility
  • Requires careful perimeter fixing
  • Suitability must be confirmed before order
Important: A residential safety net is a supplementary barrier. It does not replace adult supervision, restricted access, suitable railings, correct anchoring, professional judgement or regular inspection.
Safety checklist

Review the opening, fixing points and access

A child-safety application requires careful site review. Product supply alone does not replace professional installation and supervision.

1

Measure every opening

Record width × height for each balcony, window, stair gap or other area.

2

Share clear photographs

Include the full opening, edges and surrounding surface so fixing conditions can be understood.

3

Confirm the installation scope

State whether you need product supply only or also want installation availability checked.

4

Plan regular inspection

Any installed safety net should be checked periodically and after impact, alteration or visible damage.

Measurement & installation brief

Document the complete safety opening

A quotation is more useful when every fixing edge and access condition is visible.

Measure Width

Record the clear horizontal opening between secure perimeter edges.

Measure Height

Measure the full vertical exposure, not only the railing height.

Photograph Edges

Show slab, wall, frame, grill and corner conditions for fixing review.

Note Access

State the floor, exterior access and whether professional installation is required.

After installation: Check for loose edges, damaged mesh, enlarged openings or altered anchors. Stop relying on the barrier until any defect has been professionally reviewed.

Common questions

Before you order ProNet Child Safety Net

Can this replace adult supervision?

No. A safety net is a supplementary physical barrier and does not replace adult supervision, controlled access, correct installation or regular inspection.

Can it be supplied for different openings?

Custom-size requirements can be reviewed for balconies, windows, staircase gaps and other openings based on dimensions and feasibility.

Should the net be inspected after installation?

Yes. Installation points and the net should be checked regularly and after impact, alterations or any visible wear or damage.
